Fabric Giveaway!
Please tell me Pam wasn't the only person who noticed that darling retro fabric that was the backdrop of the gravy bowl in my last post!
It's from a new line called "Momma's Apron Strings" by RJR Fabrics. I just finished a few projects using the fabric and happen to have some leftover pieces...and I thought there might be a few of you out there who would enjoy having fun with some fat quarters! Actually, it's a half yard of the windowpane check with the fruit and fat quarters of the other pieces.
There are 3 colorways:
Classic blue
Reddish pink (my favorite!)
Green and orange
The fabric won't be in stores until July, so I can pretty much guarantee you'll be the first in your neighborhood to play with it!
You know the drill, leave a comment, blah blah blah and someone, or something will draw a name next week sometime.
I can't guarantee you'd get the color of your choice, but if you have a strong preference, let me know in your comment.

I forgot how cute this stuff was. Sign me up!
The fabric is awesome. And no, I didn't notice the fabric behind the gravy bowl until you point it out. They look soo nice together. Thanks for a giveaway!
I never looked past the bowl. I think I have the same bowl my husband Aunt gave me a couple of years ago. The fabrics are gorgeous. I wouldn't be able to choose one color if I won anyway.
Will you believe me if I said I noticed? I really did--I thought it was sharp how nicely it complimented the fruit pattern on the bowl and for a second I thought it was the identical pattern. They're all lovely fabrics and I can't wait to see them on the bolt.
Pink, please.
Didn't notice the fabric either. I'd take any color. The fabrics are all lovely.
They are cute... I wondered why the fabric kept changing while you told your story. It sure does match your bowl!
Please sign me up too! It's all wonderful! My "choice"... do I have to make one? LoL... I guess I would say I like it all!
So sweet of you to share with us.
Jean
oh boy, oh boy....this is TOOOOO cute. Love it ALL!!!! Hoping I am one lucky girl (G)!!!! XXX Annelies
Love the fabric - any color will do! Please add me to the draw.

i DID notice the fabric, but i was too caught up in the story.
tehehe.
i'll take which ever one you wanna give me.
:D
thanks for giving these away!!!
i really have to get my hands on this line when it comes out.
These are so cute! Thanks for your generosity!
i did notice the fabric in that the one photo shows the piece that almost matches your bowl. i thought it was real cute. i wouldn't mind being entered for a chance to win in your giveaway. it's lovely fabric, no matter which color. have a great day.
Such fun prints! Thanks for sharing :)
I loved your bowl, but honestly didn't notice the fabric. I really like the green and would love to be a winner!
Thanks!
Oh my gosh! Darling fabric! LOVE the different colorways!
Oh I noticed it alright but I thought it was like a tea towel or something kitcheny already made up. I haven't seen this fabric yet. I love it, of course. The window pane one I had a piece of in vintage years ago that I used in a kitchen quilt. I had forgotten about it. It was slightly different but very similar. Fun fun. Love it all. The green with the orangy red flowers is my favorite of the bunch though, the solid green with the flowers makes a statement and I love the colors. How did I miss this line of fabric in my "radar to be releasted" hunts? I've got to step up my game, obviously.
hello please add me to the picings for the lovely green shades
and woo hoo on finding the wonderful
bowl to fill in for the one that will always be on the shelf
thankyou for sharing
all of the new fabrics look delis
ter
oh, any colorway would be fine with me!

Oh, these are just the prettiest things EVER! Thanks for the giveaway...
Just gorgeous - such a 'fresh' feel! Can't decide if I like the pink or the green/orange colour way best - oh heck, I like it all! I look forward to seeing the range when it hits the stores.
Kind regards - Dawn
I did notice it, but I assumed it was vintage. It is darling.

What a great giveaway! I guess I was so entranced in your gravy bowl story and the magic of the bowl that I missed the background! It reminded me of a certain pie dish my grandma used that I so wished I could have had. I am glad you found a close second on that. The fabric is soooo cute. Thank you for the chance to win.
Yes, sign me up! I love all the colorways. My huge cat decided to take a nap in my Grandma's spongeware bowl, fell out of it and broke it. The things we put up with. Thanks!
They are all gorgeous...I won't even say which is my favorite since I'd be sooo happy to win any colorway!
I noticed it, but just thought of it as a pretty backdrop. But I am definitely up for a giveaway. Those fabrics are calling my name... I can hear them now "you who, oh you who"... pink or green want a new home here. Oh by they way, they were the perfect backdrop for that fabulous bowl.
Ohhhhh I LOVE the blue and the red set. I would make them up into something just lovely - I don't know what yet - but I will figure it out.
i love it all!! I'd be thrilled with any of them! thanks!
Love the pink the best-est. Love to have the chance to play with it.
I didn't notice the fabric behind the bowl but seeing it on its own I will be looking forward to seeing it in the stores. Cann't wait to see what you've done with it.

How funny, I did notice the fabric in the "bowl post", but only because the colors seemed to match the bowl perfectly. I thought, she's so clever for putting those two together. I assumed it was a vintage fabric! Sign me up for the giveaway -- I'd love to do something with these cute fabrics!
Ooh, that is pretty fabric. I did notice how nicely it matched your cute bowl. All the colorways look beautiful to me!! --Jen

Hi Elizabeth. Thanks for stopping by my Blog "LadyJaneVintage"! Yes, I am very sad about my current situation with Ebay and even sadder that they would side with the type of person that they did.:( BUT we'll see what happens, I may or may not be back on Ebay again soon, BUT in the meantime, I will be selling on Etsy under the name of LadyJaneVintage.:) My blog has the link to my Etsy auctions. I only have a couple things listed right now, but will have tons more tomorrow and to come.:) Thanks for your kind words though - It makes things seem less gloomy!:) Jen
I like this fabric too. How sweet it is.
Love it! I can never find stuff like this when I'm looking for it!

I love that fabric! It makes you happy just to look at it. I am not picky about the colors, I love them all. Please add me to the pot.
please add me to the drawing...Love, love those fabrics and your blog.
definitely noticed the fabric! So funny that the bowl brings memories of your grans gravy and for me, the fabric reminded me of my grans aprons! I have often said, that when Gran donned her apron and headed to the stove, she could make a meal out of almost nothing...and the amazing thing was, that it was always delicious! I feel so sad for people who say they never knew their grandparents, because some of the fondest memories I have include my Gran! You can add me to your list of names, but even if I don't win, it was a nice walk down memory lane...Thanks!
Wendy
How sweet is that fabric!! I, too, like the reddish pink, but all three are to die for. Please sign me up too!
OMGosh...is it too late to enter? I love the bowl and the fabric! The 2 colorways I like best are the pinks & the greens. Thanks for the offer...good luck to everyone!

They all look yummy but the green and orange is my favorite. Great photos!
I just love the fun giveaways and the blue fabric is my favorite, but any color is fine. I just love vintage fabrics. My grandma was a sewer and I used to love going into her little sewing corner and looking at her fabrics. This reminds me of her, and because of her I sew to.

Love the new design. And I can
relate to items being broken, and
then replaced. My wonderful
Pyrex bowls. One has to go to
an Antique Store now to find them.
Your new fabric designs are
beautiful...very Retro! And yes,
I would love to win any color.
Terry
I don't remember if I said that I love things VINTAGE!!! Well, not all, but some things!
That fabric is amazing. I love all of it!! I have a great idea for a little project for those materials as well. Heather
All three colorways are wonderful. And I am really glad that you were able to replace your bowl. I have some of my grandmother's things that I cherish and use. There sre so many memories tied to them.
Yes please! Sign me up, the fabrics are adorable and the pink would be great for a little girls quilt ( and I have the girl!)
What delicious fabrics! Could not choose a favorite if I had too.
Your guinea pig is just adorable. My guinea pig, Rocks, passed away a couple of months ago. I had her for more then 5 years and I knew she was getting to be an old lady but I wasn't prepared for her to leave me. I still miss her "weeking" at me when I opened the fridge door and all the snuggles. She was such a lover.
When I first saw the pictures of yours it warmed my heart so much. thank you for the best part of my day!
These fabrics are darling! I love them all! Thanks for the give away.
I like the green.
amaryllis_wings(at)yahoo(dot)ca
