A friend is...

someone who shames you into finishing an old project that really should have been done months ago...(I'm so happy with the way it turned out--Kay's patterns are terrific!)

and then introduces you to a new project you just can't put down!

This little friend needs to learn that my yarn may look an awful lot like a rope toy, but
if you want to play fetch, that's not the item to bring to Mom!

Next up, quilts!!
REALLY!

you reminded me! I have a good friend quote by Charles Schulz...

"Just thinking of a friend makes me want to do a happy dance, because a friend is someone who loves you in spite of all of your faults."

I just see Snoopy dancing around Charlie Brown, regardless of his block head-dom.

I just love Kay's designs! I bought two I saw at fall Market.. . & this reminds me that I need to make them for spring!
. . . & there's the little camera-shy Jane! . . looking so innocent! ("who. . . me?) :-)

What a darling jumper! Jumper? Dress? Apron? No matter what it is that I don't know... it's adorable!

And the yarn project (see how smart I am? At least I know it's yarn.)... it's darling too. Is it a hat? A pillow? I bet your little friend knows EXACTLY what it is! I super sized the photo, but the pattern language looked like something out of Star Trek to me. Gosh that's cute and I envy your yarn'n skills!

What a great project to finish. It looks great! Sometimes you just need that little nudge from that special someone and you get it all done. I can't wait to see how the new project will turn out, especially if your dog stops fetching it.

How about a tutorial of the crochet project? Come on, you can do it.

Jane is just the cutest thing! I know you would prefer her to bring an actual toy instead of your crochet to play, but how can you resist that sweet face?

Hey....that looks like my Sabrina tunic pattern! You did a great job and I am so glad that you finally finished it! I will have some new designs to sucker you in at spring market....see you then!
