I'm a sucker for scallops

There sure seem to be a lot of scallopy things in my life these days:

Trying to make a lampshade for the family room...kinda-sorta following these instructions...

Then there's the cutest-ever cakestand I was thrilled to find at Target (Melvin not included).

And I'm knee-deep in sewing secret scallops...I can only show you a peek, but more real soon!

P.S. Do you see me, Jocelyn? I'm waving to you!

Hey too funny, I was going to try and get Binny to sit on my cake plate. Mellie is so good at that kind of thing.

Love love love the scallops. Wonderful.

I see you, I see you. This is me waving back. Definitely a Melvin stand - he looks so darn cute on it.

Love your scallops! Especially the secret ones. Although I hate secrets.

Melvin looks cuter on yours than a gardenburger did on mine. Although Melvin's not edible. Cuter, but not edible ;-)

I love scallops, too. The last ones I made were on my oldest daughters Valentine dress when she was 4. She will be 25 soon.

I love the red cakestand! I saw it at Target a few weeks ago and thought I didn't need it, so I didn't get it. I may make a trip tomorrow to see if it's still there! (Dumb of me, I know).
